30th Lahore International Book Fair Starts 4th Feb, 2016

Lahore International Book Fair will be held in Expo Center Johar Town, Lahore, on 4-8 February, 2016. This year will mark the 30th edition of this international book fair held by LIBF trust. A large number of book sellers and publishers from Pakistan and other countries participate in this book fair. With the passage of time, this book fair has grown into one important event in the calendar of Lahore.

30th LIBF is a special event. It is a joint effort of many to promote book reading culture among our youth. Social behavior of a nation and especially its youth can be gauged with this indicator. Reading not only helps people in broadening their intellectual horizons but also infuses the social norms of peaceful co-existence.

Publishing industry in Pakistan is growing. The growth in recent years has been significant. This fact is reiterated by the ever increasing foot fall in every year’s edition of this international book fair. Like previous few years, this year too the book fair is being held in Expo Center Lahore which is state-of-the-art facility for such occasions.
