The handsome , stylish, rock n roll meets folk, killer vocalist will be back with us in the latest season of Coke Studio and we can’t wait! There are so many reasons we are looking forward to seeing Umair Jaswal on Coke Studio Season 12. His vocals, his style his charm, he’s got it all! Here are our top 5:
1 – His amazing vocal range –
Umair Jaswal has quite an insane vocal range. He can go from high notes to low notes so swiftly. He shows up with the talent of a true lead vocalist. His powerful voice gives us goosebumps with his soulful pitch along with vibrato tones. These techniques which probably take hours of practice are quite impressive. We can hear this specifically in songs like ‘Khaki Banda’, ‘Sami meri waar and at the end of “Khayaal’ in season 6.
2 – His style –
From street style to rock n roll fusion, we get to see Umair’s fashion evolution through the Coke Studio timeline. His sense of fashion cannot be overlooked in each season. His aesthetic matches his brilliant vocal range. Giving us a glimpse into his creative mind through each article of clothing, looks like Umair uses his dress-sense as a form of creative expression and we are so here for it!
3 – His looks –
Let’s admit it , our favourite Jaswal brother, Umair Jaswal is true eye candy. He is so talented but so good looking as well. In each video of Coke Studio we could just get lost in his eyes. His passionate singing makes him all the more attractive. He has our hearts pumping out of our chests with his hardrock aesthetic. A truly beautiful man inside and out.
4 – Who will he collaborate with next –
We’ve seen Umair Jaswal collaborate with huge stars such as Atif Aslam, who is pretty much a pop rock legend in Pakistan. Quratulain Baloch, a popular singer songwriter Shuja Haider, singer songwriter, Ahmed Jahanzeb, another front running vocalist and Naseebo Lal, a classical Urdu/Punjabi singer. All of these incredible vocalists compliment Umair’s voice and he stays on range perfectly as well. We can’t wait to see who performs with him next!
5 – Which songs he will cover –
Umair has performed tracks from classical legendary Qawali tracks like folk track “Dam Mas Qalander”, which is a huge hit with fans across the nation, to ‘Khaki Banda’, which is a Sufi-rock track. We know that he can sing in multiple different genres. We are so excited for the upcoming tracks to see how Umair puts his own spin on things.
