A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.7 on the Richter scale jolted most parts of Pakistan especially Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa today (26th October, 2015).
Earth quack shocks were felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Chitral, Mardan, Quetta and nearby areas. The Quake was 196 km deep and centered 82 km southeast of Feyzabad in a remote area of Afghanistan.

As per news tremors were felt for over a minute. Jolts spread panic among people, however; no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
