7th Sky Entertainment grips the audience with yet another light-hearted and jocular telefilm, ‘Daadi ka Daamad’

A paramount production house, 7th Sky Entertainment never disappoints viewers with its entertaining content. Led by Abdullah Adwani and Asad Qureshi; the production house has yet again served us with a jovial telefilm on the festive second day of Eid ul Azha to enjoy and double upon the joy with our family and friends.

‘Daadi ka Daamaad’ features Affan Waheed as Zaviyar and Madiha Imam as Annaya in puzzling love chemistry. It also includes our most loved Humaira Bano, Farhan Ali Agha, Manzoor Qureshi, B Gul, and Saife Hassan, who helped tie up the whole serial with their appreciable performance.

The talented unmatchable duo came together to present us with a masterpiece; it is penned down by Samira Fazal and directed by Samia Waseem. Exuberant telefilm starts by showing a cheerful Anaya who has an imaginative yet striking personality. However, on the other hand, Zaviyar is demonstrated as an obedient and respectful guy who is an all-in-one package for any eligible lady.

He is most attached to his grandmother as he sets to fulfill the last wish she made before her demise – that is, to marry the granddaughter of her long-lost brother to unite both families together. Unfortunately, the ends do not meet at Anaya’s side, who is puzzled by the idea of Zaviyar wanting to marry her without even knowing her.

Anaya is someone who lives on her own terms and does not step down before making endless efforts to embarrass her family with various mischievous and witty acts. She is firm with her beliefs and makes sure she is heard! She makes several harmless attempts such as showing up at Zaviyar’s house uninvited, sending him the wrong clothes for the engagement party, or even getting beaten up out of a mere misunderstanding. The turning point in the serial is where Anaya goes beyond her boundaries to flirt with Zaviyar’s friend, on which the marriage is called off. She then later realizes her mistake and seeks forgiveness by following Zaviyar to the airport, where she confronts her approval for the marriage ending the drama.

The vibrant cast full of energy has put life into each character with their incredible performances. The extraordinary script becomes more notable with important messages of understanding between partners, the importance of a girl’s approval before a proposal, and the respect for elders. All in all, the Eid day was made even more gracious, entertaining and eventful with this fun loving telefilm.
