In a clinical display of spin dominance, Abbottabad outclassed AJK by six wickets. AJK’s batting woes began early as their top order crumbled, managing only 98 runs. Mohammad Haider’s resilient 38 not out was a lone bright spot. Abbottabad’s spin trio of Khalid Usman, Mansoor Ali, and Yasir Shah wreaked havoc, sharing nine wickets among them.

Chasing a modest target of 99, Abbottabad openers Anees Azam and Mohammad Arif laid a solid foundation. Despite Naveed Malik’s four-wicket haul, Khayam Khan’s unbeaten 13 and Ahmad Khan’s one not out guided Abbottabad to victory in the 20th over, securing a crucial win in the Super Four stage.

Islamabad showcased their batting prowess, posting an imposing total of 309-4 against Hyderabad. Sarmad Bhatti’s brilliant century (100 not out) and Faizan Riaz’s aggressive 75 set the stage for Islamabad’s dominance. Despite Jawad Ali’s two wickets, Hyderabad faced an uphill task chasing the formidable target.

Hyderabad’s response faltered early as openers Zain-ul-Abdin and Sher Afzal departed cheaply. Rizwan Mehmood’s resilient 79 provided some resistance, but Farmanullah Khan’s three-wicket haul, including the crucial wicket of skipper Daniyal Hussain Rajput, sealed Hyderabad’s fate. Umair Afridi also contributed with three wickets as Hyderabad was bowled out for 199 in the 40th over.
