Adan or Hatim—Who are you rooting for in Kasa-e-Dil for Somia?

The new season has brought a number of interesting plays for us and we are so glad to be spoilt for choices. One of the serials that has us hooked since the beginning is Kasa-e-Dil, produced by 7^th Sky Entertainment, airing on Geo Entertainment. Starring Ali Ansari, Hina Altaf, and Affan Waheed in the lead roles, the drama is now 5 episodes down and continues to be intriguing and has us gripped in its spell. Another one of Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi’s brilliant productions, it is a touching tale of love between the lead characters.

Somia (Hina Altaf) and Hatim (Ali Ansari) are cousins and in love with each other, while Adan (Affan Waheed) has fallen madly in love with Somia since he first saw her at the bus stop. Both Hatim and Adan are pleasing characters with strong and gentle personalities that is making it difficult for us to decide whom to root for in this love triangle.

Hatim stands by her side through thick and thin, and we saw him support her emotionally during a difficult time as she dealt with her father’s death in the initial episode. He also knows her inside out and thus, does not trust whatever accusations his mother levels against Somia every now and then.

On the other hand, Adan also seems like a guy who will go all out for Somia’s happiness. He is unable to forget her since he first saw her and despite not knowing anything about her whereabouts, he continues to think about her. Somia and Adan haven’t had a conversation yet while Somia also does not even know about Adan and his love for her. However, he happens to be her father’s boss and therefore, the preview of the upcoming episode suggests that he will help Somia financially for her mother’s surgery and the two will finally meet.

Somia shares an amazing on-screen chemistry with Hatim and the teasers of Kasa-e-Dil released earlier also showed a sizzling chemistry between Somia and Adan. With two such gentlemen out there, it is difficult for us to decide who to prefer over other but time will tell. Who are you rooting for in Kasa-e-Dil—Adan or Hatim?
