Earlier this year, a new smart product was introduced to the world that would transform the fragrance industry and meet our everyday needs. This meant that finally, we would be able to completely transform our homes allowing for the most luxurious of feels all from one of the most vital senses we as humans have – smell.
For the last three years Pakistani-Canadian brothers Nabeel and Muneeb Mushtaq have been hard at work finding a way to bring the feeling of hotel luxury into the homes of everyday consumers. After extensive R&D and raising $4M in seed capital funding, one of the largest seed rounds in Canada, the brothers successfully created the Canadian-based Airzai.
Airzai’s flagship product, Airzai Aroma, is a premium smart home fragrance diffuser using its very own premium swiss fragrances made up of all natural ingredients and is the first dual smart home diffuser of its kind. The revolutionary product uses AI technology which allows consumers to customize lighting, scents, schedules for their diffuser, and operate it via voice control when connected to Amazon Alexa or Google Assist. Unlike traditional diffusers which use heat and flames, Airzai Aroma uses ultrasonic discs, making it the safer, more effective product of its kind on the market.
Coming up with such a brilliant and revolutionary idea isn’t something just anyone can do, that is why the brothers enlisted the help of now chief designer of Airzai Aroma, Fred Bould. If this name rings a bell to you, it’s likely because he is the world famous designer behind globally known and best-selling products such as Nest which was acquired by Google for over $3.2B, GoPro camera, Roku TV and much more.
After the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world, the brothers were quick to notice a need for sanitization products and got to work developing products for a new line they call Airzai Care. The innovative line of self-care products include a premium air and surface disinfectant which is made of all natural ingredients and which kill 99.9% of germs including COVID-19.
Part of the reason Nabeel and Muneeb Mushtaq have been so successful in what they do is that they put their heart and soul into their products. And in addition to the products they create, they also make sure to include in their business plans a way to tap into their roots and give back.
The brothers, being two proud Pakistanis, have been in talks to bring their product to the Middle East where they hope to not only tap into a new market, but also source local talent and create jobs. They also hope to open offices in both Pakistan and Dubai by the end of the year as part of their expansion into the Middle Eastern market.
