Aisha Yousaf Returns to Lahore, Joins Dunya News After Dubai Hiatus

Renowned news anchor and TV host Aisha Yousaf, who left the media industry last year and relocated to Dubai, has confirmed her return to Lahore as she joins the national news channel Dunya News. This marks her re-entry into the Pakistani media scene.

Aisha Yousaf was last associated with GNN, where she served not only as a news anchor but also as a prominent face of the channel’s programs and special transmissions.

Aisha has been a part of the news media since 2011, beginning her career as a newscaster at City42. Her most significant role was at ARY News, where she became a key member of the newscast team after joining in 2013. In 2015, Aisha moved to Bol News, and by July of that year, she returned to her hometown of Lahore to join Pakistan’s first-ever HD news channel, 92 News. She had a brief stint at Samaa in 2018 before joining GNN. In early 2023, she took a break from the media.

At Dunya News, Aisha Yousaf is set to fill a crucial role in the channel’s news anchoring department.

Aisha Yousaf holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Federal Urdu University, Karachi. Interestingly, she began her media career as an actor in the popular soap serial Love Life Lahore in the early 2010s but later transitioned to pursue a career in broadcast journalism.
