Sehrish Ali has ascended to the second position in the European Squash Federation (ESF) Under-13 category rankings, outperforming nine international competitors, including her sister Mahnoor Ali, who currently ranks fourth. Sehrish is the first player from Pakistan to accomplish such a milestone the last fifty years. In a remarkable display of talent, Sehrish competed in the Hungarian Junior Open 2024, entering the U-15 category, and secured a silver medal after a gripping match against France’s Cassy Lincou. Prior to the final, Sehrish showcased her dominance, winning in straight sets through the semi-final, quarter-final, and round of 16.
Her recent achievements are further highlighted by her gold medal at the Nordic Junior Open (Under-13) and silver at the Danish Junior Open (Under-13). In total, Sehrish’s squash journey includes an impressive 11 gold medals, 3 international silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.
The Hungarian Junior Open 2024 also marked a successful chapter for her sisters. Mahnoor Ali claimed her 17th gold, defeating Krisztina Kun of Hungary, while Mehwish Ali achieved her 25th gold medal, overcoming Temara Pescaresu. The Ali sisters’ collective success underscores their dedication to the sport and highlights Pakistan’s growing presence in international squash.
