Alia Bhatt Not Doing Biopic On Pakistani Singer Nazia Hassan

Indian Actress Alia Bhatt has denied news of being a part of biopic of Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan. Alia had expressed her desire to play the singer on the screen.

Alia said at the promotional event of her film Shaandar,

“I am not doing it. I was asked if I had to do a biopic then on which person it would be, I gave this name (Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan) as it was on top of my mind. I found the story and subject interesting.”

Alia was speaking at the launch of a new song “Raitaa Phail Gaya” from the film.
