All-rounder Mubasir Khan is set to step in for right-arm fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain in the Pakistan Shaheens squad for the 19th Asian Games, scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China from September 28 to October 7. Hasnain, still recovering from an ankle injury, will not be able to participate in the upcoming cricketing event.
The Asian Games cricket tournament will feature the T20 format, and as per tournament rules, the Pakistan Shaheens will enter the competition from the quarter-finals stage, scheduled for October 3 and 4. The semi-finals are set for October 6, with the final taking place on October 7. Additionally, the match for the bronze medal will also be contested on Saturday, October 7.
