Hadiqa Urooj Khan becomes the latest addition to the news anchoring team of 92 News as the channel goes through a changing time due to some senior team members bidding farewell.
This is the first national TV channel experience for Hadiqa who previously has been part of Dunya TV Network’s regional news channel, Lahore News. Hadiqa posted on her social media to share the news.
belongs to a Pushtoon family of Khan Baabakhail tribe and now lives in Lahore with her family. She got her master’s degree in mass communication from Superior University, Lahore. She completed her masters in 2020.
While talking to MediaSpringPK, Hadiqa said:
“Appearing on a national TV screen is like a wish come true. I have waited for this for many years and I have worked very hard with dedication to make it happen. When I look at it, this is a major milestone in career. At the same time, I would like to consider it as first major milestone as there are many more to come Inshallah. I gave my first audition at the age of 17 I was this much passionate about being on the screen. Moreover, it also was my mother’s wish to see me on the screen of a news channel, she used to say that I must be on screen in her words I have the spark. Having said that, my father have been a massive support for me”
Her broadcast career started as a morning show RJ at Boom FM 106.6. Moreover, she also worked as a news anchor for a digital channel.
Her first news channel was Lahore Rang where she worked as a reporter and news anchor. In 2021, she moved to the Dunya TV network where she was part of Lahore News HD.
