While talking to MediaSpringPK about her break and comeback Asma said:

“I am coming back on screen after six months. One of the foremost reasons of this break was my wedding. I had been working around the clock for GNN’s Morning show “Weekend Brunch” and Road Show “Sarkar”, so getting up at 5 am and working until 10 pm worn me out.

“I had to take this break for myself and Tahir. So this was whole me time, have discovered so many other flairs like cooking, painting, and interior designing.

“Vlogging also kept my attention for a while but due to Covid-19, I was unable to continue it. Then I was offered with lectureship at University of Central Punjab and I started it.”

Talking about Expresso and how the show was offered to her she said:

“Since, I have been doing a lot of other things so I was not ready for some full time job. I have one segment in the show – this food segment is such a relief from my quarantine life and also it’s a fun activity.

“Since I am also planning a start-up, the expresso thing appears to be an ideal situation.

“It feels great to be back, meeting old friends and new people is the beginning of additional opportunities.”

When asked about managing various hats in a day, Asma said:

“I consider myself a multi-tasker, and I love this quote by Paulo Coelho, ‘One day, you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. DO IT NOW.’ So the time is running out, one needs to be slammed to achieve something big. There are unlimited things to be discovered, learn and be involved with.

“You just need a push with something that you’re passionate about, get completely immersed and discover where that takes you. My daily routine includes household chores, recordings, teaching, shout outs, script writing etc. and every passing day just surprising me even more.”

Also I will be coming back to YouTube with webshows and Vlogging,” she added.
