Lady of many talents Armala Hassan is all set to host Eid special edition of her show Jago Lahore on Lahore News HD. She has completed the recordings of the show this past week.

Armala Hassan started her career in 2014 as intern reporter at Samaa and in 2016 she got her first claim to fame when she hosted World T20 special show for Samaa along with former Pakistan captain and World Cup winner Aamer Sohail. She hosted her first ever Eid show back in 2017 it was also the maiden Eid show of Lahore News. Armala recalls, “My first eid show as a host was in 2017 the year when Lahore News was launched. I still remember our recordings continued till sehri and my team was like ‘Kb hoga ya shoot khatam’. It was such an exciting experience for me but at the same time I was so nervous as there were so many big names around me in the show as the guest panel. But it went really well Alhumdulillah.”
This year again Armala is hostin Eid special show for Lahore News, talking about the theme of this year, Armala said:
“This year’s Eid show is all about celebrations and remembering those in our celebrations who can’t afford.”
Jago Lahore is the morning show of Lahore News HD hosted by Armala Hassan. While comparing the challenges and differences in hosting morning show and Eid show, Armala was of the view that Eid shows are more challenging. “Eid show is more challenging, I guess, as the Eid day itself requires so much energy after fasting whole month of Ramazan and I have to put a lot of energy in the show to make sure that viewers get to see quality content and they can feel themselves the part of the celebrations which we are having on their TV screen,” she said.

Armala did her MSC in communication studies and went to United States in 2018 for IVLP ( international visitors leadership program) to represent Pakistan under the idea of Increasing the Capacity of women journalists in Pakistan.
