Arrmala Hassan brings freshly brewed Expresspo

After a break from morning show hosting for a year, the talented TV presenter Armala Hassan is back on the TV screen with a brand new morning show on Express News. The show called Expresso is the first morning show of the channel in many years.

Armala who was last seen hosting Eid show of Express News on Eid-ul-Fitr, also hosted a digital chat show – Sports Fever 360’s presentation “Whats Going On”.

While talking to MediaSpringPK Armala said:

“It feels very good to be back in a morning show. I actually missed it. We started working on this show back in February but due to COVID-19 when everything stood still. Now things are resuming after almost six years. And what can be better than starting this phase with a new show.

“Expresso is not a conventional morning show it is an infotainment show with various flavors that you can enjoy with your morning cup of coffee (or tea) and have your breakfast with daily dose of news.

“The team is fantastic and it has been great to work with Imran Hassan and Hina Niazi. We have workd on this show’s concept keeping the viewers in mind and we hope that viewers like it too.”

Armala Hassan started her career in 2014 as an intern reporter at Samaa. In 2016 she joined Dunya News network and hosted morning show, Jago Lahore for Lahore News. Armala remained the face of the show for almost two years and left the network in 2019.

Armala did her MSC in communication studies and went to United States in 2018 for IVLP ( international visitors leadership program) to represent Pakistan under the idea of Increasing the Capacity of women journalists in Pakistan. Armala started her TV hosting career with hosting a sports show. In 2016 she got her first claim to fame when she hosted World T20 special show for Samaa along with former Pakistan captain and World Cup winner Aamer Sohail. She has also been a model for various brands. Armala has also done pitch-side reporting during MCC tour of Pakistan 2020.
