Pride of Performance recipient and multiple award winning actor Noman Ijaz is now going to appear in the avatar of a spiritual leader in his new TV play for A-Plus – Dumpukht.
Noman Ijaz is renowned for his role in A-plus’ ‘Bhai’ (2016) and ‘Mera Saaien (2010-11). The new TV play posits Ijaz opposite one of the new faces of Pakistan’s showbiz industry model-turned-actress Sonia Mishal who was last seen in ‘Ishqa Waay‘ and curruntly appearing in HUM TV’s Khwab Saraye.
Saman Ansari, another promising name of Pakistani TV dramas, is also part of the project as main cast she is portraying role of Peerni NoorBano.
Dumpukht is production of by Mishaal entertainment and award-winning Kashif Nisar renowned for writing Kami Reh Gaee and directing ‘Sangat and Dooriyan.
Dumpukht’ is said to be a captive and rosy story about a young girl enchanted by a charismatic spiritual peer played by Noman Ijaz and the ensuing conflicts this creates in both of their lives.
The writer and director of the play is Lyari Express and Ashk fame Zafar Mairaj. Dumpukht will be earing first episode today July 13, 2016 on A-Plus.
