Educationist turned TV anchor and web-show host, Ayesha Jehanzeb has resigned from Geo News and will not be hosting the revamped version of Khabarnaak. Ayesha confirmed the news after a new promo of the show went on air with the former host of the show was nowhere to be seen.
The show will be hosted by Irshad Bhatti now.

Ayesha was the first female host of late night comedy show of Geo TV Network.
Ayesha Jehanzeb took over the role of Khabarnaak host in 2016 while initially she was the co-host of the show with Naeem Bokhari. Before stepping into the media industry Ayesha used to teach at the Aitchison College in Lahore.
Ayesha attended Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore and did her MPhil in 2012.
Besides TV hosting, Ayesha is very active and vocal on social media where she shares her opinion on various matters, conducts web-shows and vlogs on her YouTube channel. Ayesha is also a social media influencer with her very strong presence on Instagram.
