On the fifth episode of Iftar Mulaqaat, hosted by Hina Khawaja Bayat and this episode has an honor super-talented actress model and singer Ayesha Omar. While Chef Shai held the responsibility of cooking two wonderful dishes, Hina Bayat and Ayesha kept the audience hooked with their cheerful banter.
Up close she was every bit magical and glamorous though Ayesha was still not up to her 100% as she was still healing from her recent accident she told us,
“Following that accident although I’ve recovered externally but I haven’t been able to completely heal. I can still feel the weakness and the spasms.”
She further mentioned:
“Now I need to go through any other painful procedure. It’s another treatment.”
Ayesha was very thankful for the love and prayers of her fans.
When asked about Ramadan she said,
“An anti-aging hormone is produced in your body when you’re fasting. That’s why fasting is so good. “I try to eat as raw as possible because as much as we cook it the nutritional value decreases”
Ayesha and Hina had a very jovial conversation where they talked about various aspects of life, Ramadan, career and the Pakistani media industry. There were a few things Ayesha was a bit shy or reluctant about talking, like the excruciatingly painful surgeries she had to go through after her life threatening accident. She also discussed the matters of privacy in her field, exclaiming,
“I gave up on privacy a long time ago. There’s no privacy in this field.”
She was also a bit aggravated by the fact that people don’t consider them as humans and even though the fans love them the celebrities just don’t get their due share of respect and space. “We are treated like public property”, says Ayesha Omar
When we moved on to lighter topics, she confessed to have a problem, saying that,
“I have a problem. I can’t stop playing with my hair.”
On one occasion she added,
“When I see my old snaps my instant reaction is that I was so stupid.”
