Ayesha Zulfiqar becomes part of Suno TV

Ayesha Zulfiqar, the renowned news anchor, and a reputed TV host is another face of the newly launched Suno TV.

Ayesha left her last channel Neo TV earlier this year and remained part of the then-yet-to-be-launched Suno TV, which makes her part of the launching team of Suno TV.

Lahore-based news and TV anchor Ayesha Zulfiqar, also known as Ayisha Noor, holds a master’s degree in political science and started her career in 2008 with City42 as a newscaster later she also had a stint at Waqt News of Nawa i Waqt Group.

In 2011 Ayesha joined Dunya News, where she was part of the newscast team along with that she also hosted the show Faislay Se Pehly for the network.

She briefly also worked at Express News before re-joining Dunya News.

 

In March 2017, Ayesha ended her long association with Dunya News and joined Neo TV. She remained with the network for nearly 10 months.

In 2018, Ayesha became part of GNN where she was part of the pioneer team of the channel.

In 2019, Ayesha left GNN and took a two-year-long break from the screen after the birth of her child.

Her almost two-year-long hiatus ended in 2021 when Ayesha returned to the TV screen this time as a Ramazan Transmission host on Neo TV’s regional news channel – Lahore Rang. The return became a permanent one after Ramazan as he moved to the national channel Neo TV as a senior News Anchor.

During her second stint with Neo TV, she also had a taste of hosting a morning show when she hosted Neo Pakistan as a stand-in host to cover for Nabeeha Ejaz.

Ayesha is known for her calm and composed conduct of news and programmes and one of the finest news anchors from the boom period of Pakistan’s electronic media.
