Azhar Ali to Miss Second Test Match Against England in Dubai

Pakistan’s ODI Captain and Vice Captain of Test Cricket team, Azhar Ali will return Pakistan following the death of his mother-in-law and is expected to miss the second Test against England starting in Dubai.

Azhar Ali did not play the first Test due to a foot infection. However, he had recovered well and took part in training on Friday and Saturday.Team manager Intikhab Alam said Azhar would fly back to Pakistan and it is not clear if he would be able to rejoin the squad before the Thursday.

Intikhab Alam said:

“Its sad that Ali has to return home following the death of his mother-in-law and his return before the second Test will depend on his visa for the United Arab Emirates”
