With an impressive record of 9201 runs in 260 T20 matches at an average of 44.02, Babar Azam is a force to be reckoned with in the cricketing world. In addition to his cricketing prowess, Babar Azam has also made headlines for his off-field pursuits. He recently became one of the first cricketers to enroll in the executive education program at Harvard Business School, further showcasing his dedication to personal and professional growth. Babar, along with his Pakistan teammate Muhammad Rizwan, met with Colombo Strikers’ owner Sagar Khanna for an insightful conversation ahead of the Lanka Premier League, which is scheduled to commence on July 31st.
The player auction for the tournament is set to take place on June 14th, and the Colombo Strikers are keen to secure talented players to bolster their squad. Alongside Babar Azam, the team already boasts the inclusion of Matheesha Pathirana, Naseem Shah, and Chamika Karunarathne.
