Bahria Town Secures Naming Rights for Champions One-Day Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced Bahria Town as the title sponsor for the Champions One-Day Cup, one of the country’s premier domestic cricket events. The tournament will now be known as the Bahria Town Champions One-Day Cup, running from 12-29 September at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium.

The competition kicks off today with a highly anticipated opener between UMT Markhors, mentored by Misbah-ul-Haq, and Lake City Panthers, led by Saqlain Mushtaq.

In addition to Bahria Town, several other prominent sponsors have joined the tournament. Blue World City, Inverex Solar Energy, Brighto Paints, and Kingdom Valley will serve as official partners, while Tapal has signed on as the official tea partner.

PCB’s Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer, expressed gratitude for Bahria Town’s involvement and highlighted the significance of this partnership in promoting cricket at the domestic level. “Bahria Town’s support, along with other esteemed sponsors, demonstrates a shared commitment to uplifting the sport,” he stated.

The tournament promises an exciting showcase of talent from the country’s best cricketers, ensuring thrilling action for cricket fans across Pakistan.
