One of the most-watched family dramas by 7th Sky Entertainment ‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’ is drawing towards closure next week and we are impatiently looking forward to the finale. However, we are also going to miss the serial once it ends as it brought some relatable family moments to us. The second last episode of the serial went on-air last night and we saw Umar still confused about getting married to Roshni. Although he is now clear about whom he loves, he still is troubled with Roshni’s ‘love’ and does not want to leave her midway.
Roshni’s reality and nature is finally being exposed to Umar. The way she demands living separately from his parents and the manner in which she tells him that by marrying her she is actually doing ‘him’ a favor, makes Umar realize how different she was from Maheen, who does not demand anything from him.
Roshni and Umar are in a toxic relationship where Roshni always wants Umar under her control. Umar was blinded with her love before not knowing that deep in his heart it was actually Maheen whom he loved.
Therefore, he is also angry at Maheen for going out of the way in arranging everything for his marriage and not asking for her due rights. We are waiting for the final episode to see how Umar will break free from his burdening relationship with Roshni, and we hope the show will have a happy ending for Umar and Maheen and their families.
‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’ is a family drama cum love story that captivated our attention since it started. Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi bring to us intriguing dramas throughout the week and ‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’ is no exception. It kept us invested in the story of Umar, Maheen and Roshni, and had some family moments that were totally relatable. The dynamic duo producers deserve appreciation for bringing us with such quality serials and we hope they will continue to bring to us more engaging content in the New Year and beyond.
