Bayaan Releases a Brand New Single “FARDA”

Bayaan knows all the right notes to play blending harmonies with the effortlessness only good musicians can perfect. Bayaan is fresh raw talent. After performances in heavily publicized and praised ‘Nescafe Basement’, these 5 young boys went on to make a band of their own.

Naming their ‘Bayaan’, the concept behind making and naming the band was simple… Narrate thoughts and feelings in the simplest of manner.

Literally, the word ‘Bayaan’ refers to a statement regarding a particular subject. As a band, Bayaan aims to express their perspective of worldly human experiences and how they affect every single individual through their music. As quoted by the band members, ‘we aspire to defy the status-quo of constricting to a specific genre or style by creating music that knows no bounds.’

Bayaan formed in 2014 has 5 members:

• Asfar Hussain – Vocals – Bachelors in Musicology from NCA
• Haider Abbas – Bass – BSc from LUMS
• Muqueet Shahzad – Guitars – Bsc from LUMS
• Mansoor Lashari – Drums – BBA from LSE
• Shahrukh Aslam – Guitars – Bsc from LUMS

Asfar writes the lyrics , whereas the boys together as a band come up with the composition with a collaborative effort.

Standing true to the meaning of the bands’ name, Bayaan has come up with a wonderfully narrated single ‘Farda’. ‘Farda’ is about hope, looking at the bigger picture of life and finding light in the darkest of times.

Farda is recorded and mixed by the very much acclaimed Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi), directed by Director Nescafe Basement Murtaza Niaz (Murzie) whereas the post production work has all taken place at PMR Studio Works.
PMR Studio Works is known to have given birth to some wonderful projects like Awari for the Bollywood film Ek Villain (2014), 5 tracks (Kala Doriya, Tumhein Dillagi, Neray Neray Vas, Kabhi Kabhi) for Pakistani film Deekh Magar Pyaar Say (2015), Tum Hi Se Hai Mujhaidoon by Junaid Jamshed (2015) to name a few.
