Sadia Jabbar Productions’ latest offering, Beautiful Confessions with Asma Nabeel, is all set to premiere next week on their Official YouTube Channel. This new digital show will showcase the achievement of extraordinary women in Pakistan.
The promo tells us that this show aims to inspire people in general, especially young girls. Renowned screenwriter and a cancer-survivor, Asma Nabeel, will be taking you through the journey of the women who have worked tirelessly to get them where they are today.
The show will highlight the pitfalls and the struggles they faced because of their gender. The institutional and age-old prejudices that men and women both, hold consciously and unconsciously. They will talk about the stereotypes they had to overcome to raise the bar and ensure that women who follow them don’t have to go through the same amount of trouble.
So we are expecting authentic stories of suffering, fight, and eventual success. There is a dire need for such shows which give us new role models besides our A list celebrities. The audiences, especially women, will be able to relate to their stories and take inspiration from their persistence. These tales have not been told before.
Beautiful Confessions with Asma Nabeel is produced by Sadia Jabbar. So it could be said that this show is by women and for women. A celebration of all the wonderful women who have played their part in fighting against the system and making things easier and better for all of us.
