Neo TV Network’s Lahore based regional news channel, Lahore Rang announced the line-up of their Ramazan transmission for this year.
Just like last year, Soha Afzal is going to host the special Ramazan transmission, ‘Ramazan Rang’
Soha, who hosts morning show ‘Good Morning Lahore’ for the channel, will be hosting the Iftar transmission this year.
While talking to MediaSpringPK Soha said,
“This transmission is part of a learning process, when it comes to our beautiful religion the learning has no boundaries. I am looking forward to this transmission; since i am hosting iftar transmission this time, the experience and format is going to be different. Hope viewers like our effort just like they did last year. Because of COVID-19 this year it is going to be an added challenge.”
She added:
“I have seen many people saying that anchor persons or media persons only wear dupatta in Ramazan. This should not be a debate anyway. We do realise that we cannot offer prayer and recite holy Quran without dupatta, hence it is not the case that we do it in Ramazan only. But even if we do it ‘as a need of hour’ it should be encouraged, the taunts and negative comments do not help any cause.”
Lahore Rang has also released the promo of the transmission on Thursday.
Ramazan Rang will run throughout the month on Lahore Rang.
