Coke Studio, Pakistan’s iconic music platform, has kickstarted its highly-anticipated Season 15 with the release of the enchanting song “AAYI AAYI,” featuring a stellar lineup of artists including Noman Ali, Babar Mangi, Marvi, and Saiban.
Capturing the essence of resilience and courage passed down through generations in the sands of Tharparkar, “AAYI AAYI” serves as a tribute to the rich heritage of Sindh. Curated by Xulfi (Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan) and directed by Awais Gohar, the song seamlessly blends traditional elements with contemporary sounds, painting a vivid picture of the cultural tapestry of the region.
With Noman Ali’s melodic verses invoking the strength of the people of Thar, the song sets the stage for a vibrant celebration of life and unity. Babar Mangi’s rap adds a dynamic energy to the composition, encouraging listeners to embrace their dreams and aspirations without constraints.
The music momentarily pauses, allowing Marvi and Saiban to mesmerize with their haunting vocals, adding a touch of raw emotion to the narrative.
Art Director Hashim Ali’s vision brings to life a visually stunning portrayal of Tharparkar, combining traditional motifs with modern aesthetics, while the collaboration between artists Noman Ali, Babar Mangi, Marvi, and Saiban highlights the diverse yet harmonious spirit of Sindh.
As Coke Studio Season 15 unfolds, “AAYI AAYI” stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Pakistani music and culture, inviting audiences to embark on a soulful journey through the heartland of Sindh.
