Coke Studio, Pakistan’s revered musical platform, continues to enchant audiences with the release of the third song from Season 15, titled “Maghron La.” This vibrant track features the renowned Sabri Sisters, Saman Sabri and Anamta Sabri, along with the dynamic Shahroz Amjad, also known as Rozeo.
Hailing from the esteemed musical lineage of the Sabri family, the Sabri Sisters infuse “Maghron La” with a universal message of love and joy. The song, with its festive and upbeat spirit, seamlessly blends Punjabi beats with elements of folk and bhangra. Directed by Murtaza Niaz and artfully crafted by Hashim Ali, the accompanying music video brings “Maghron La” to life as a celebration of love, happiness, and togetherness.
Rozeo, known for his distinctive style of mixing pop with rap, joins forces with the Sabri Sisters to elevate “Maghron La” to new heights. His contribution adds depth and vibrancy to the Punjabi language and spirit, reflecting his diverse influences from both England and Pakistan.
Co-written by Adnan Dhool, Rozeo, and the acclaimed producer Xulfi, “Maghron La” opens with the Sabri Sisters serenading in a beautifully preserved haveli, symbolizing the warmth and hospitality of Pakistani households. As the song progresses, Rozeo’s heartfelt rap bridges cultures and communities, emphasizing the power of love to bring people together.
The music video, choreographed by internationally renowned Nasir Sirikhan of the Norwegian dance group Quick Style, captures the essence of celebration and unity as family and friends come together to dance and rejoice in the spirit of “Maghron La.”
