Finally, wait is over and international cricket has finally came home, we are just a few hours away from the first ever international cricket match in Pakistan in six years. This is the best news for Pakistani cricket fans ever after winning the 2009 T20 world cup.
The series starting today will not only be a cricket series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe series, it will also be a musical extravaganza with live performances by Ali Zafar, Annie Khalid and Shehzad Roy.
The first game will be played today, starting at 7 am. The opening ceremony to the T20 series will feature Ali Zafar performing live at Gaddafi Stadium on May 22nd i.e. today. Momentarily, Annie Khalid, also known as the bubblegum pop ‘princess’ of the Pakistani music industry will make her comeback with a live musical appearance on the 24th of May. The finale of this most-anticipated cricket series will be will have pop singer Shehzad Roy as show stopper as he will be taking center stage for the closing ceremony on May 31st.
