Deewangi is a fantastic drama produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The drama is directed by Zeeshan Ahmed, and it is beautifully penned down by Sadia Akhter. The theme of Deewangi revolves around a rich spoilt guy who falls in love with a simple girl, but when things do not go his way, his love turns into anger.
The drama is led by Hiba Bukhari as Nageen Faiyaz, Danish Taimoor as Sultan Durrani, Zoya Nasir as Narmeen, and Ali Abbas as Haroon.
With the 20th episode, Deewangi is definitely en route to a major twist in the story, and we love the new chemistry between Hiba Bukhari and Ali Abbas.
The episode starts strong with Nageen and Haroon on a phone call, and while Haroon is hesitating to repeat his proposal for marriage, Nageen takes the opportunity to give him a yes. This scene was executed brilliantly and was well acted by both actors in terms of emotions and facial expressions.
Haroon’s mother does not approve of Nageen. Still, she allows their marriage within a confined number of people, and we witness a minimal yet adorable Nikkah ceremony of Nageen and Haroon. Nageen tries everything to win over Haroon’s mother, but she once again becomes the victim of unacceptable comments upon her character.
The scenes between Haroon and Nageen after their marriage were amazing to watch. There was love, there was hesitation, and there was happiness despite Haroon’s mother trying to cause a scene. We even love Haroon’s sister for being so supportive of Nageen and trying to protect her from her mother’s harsh comments.
On the other hand, Sultan and Narmeen are still struggling to live a happy married life. Sultan’s casual behavior with Narmeen and his priority to find Nageen is causing a major disturbance in their married life. Narmeen believed she would get Sultan’s love, but his behavior has made her realize that he is still in love with Nageen.
Sultan has been trying to find Nageen for a long time, but so far, he has failed to find out any bit of information about her whereabouts. As he is going home, he spots Nageen’s sister taking an auto ride. He tries to follow her vehicle but misses them.
So for Sultan, he now knows that Nageen is in the same city as he is in, and he will try even harder to find her. We can see he is extremely desperate to meet Nageen once again. His desperation is increasing to the point of Deewangi, and now we understand why the drama has been named so.
Nageen and Haroon seem perfect for each other, but our fingers are crossed for the time when Nageen’s past will stand right in front of her. Will Haroon stay strong, or will he leave her side? Will Sultan’s deewangi cause more troubles for Nageen? Keep watching Deewangi, every Wednesday only on Geo Entertainment.
