The Challengers got off to a solid start with openers Javeria Khan (37 off 55) and Javeria Rauf (20 off 49) forging a 56-run partnership for the first wicket. However, the Blasters, spurred on by Diana Baig’s exceptional bowling, fought back valiantly. With the score at 88, Diana triggered a collapse, taking four wickets and reducing the Challengers to 88 for 5. Ayesha Bilal and Ayesha Zafar also contributed to the impressive bowling display, claiming three wickets for 25 runs and two wickets for 16 runs, respectively.
Facing an early setback, the Blasters lost two wickets with just 22 runs on the board. However, a resilient third-wicket partnership of 56 runs between Muneeba Ali (35 off 67) and Dua Majid (20 off 48) laid the foundation for a successful run chase.
