Dr Arooba is back on Khabardar

After a long break, many flights cancellations and extended anticipation, TV presenter Dr Arooba is back on one of her shows, Khabardar.

While her return was anticipated but still it came as surprise for the whole team, watch the video:

Dr Arooba will soon be also seen on her web show (that also airs on LTV) Open Mic Cafe.

The TV and web show host left for the UK in April to spend her annual leaves. However, due to suspension on flight operations between the UK and Pakistan and Covid-19 travel restriction her stay in the kingdom got extended. She had to cancel and reschedule various flights before finally making. A touchdown in Lahore.

Arooba Tariq is an MBBS doctor and practices at a private hospital in Lahore. She started her career in media with radio where she hosted a show on the lives of medical students and professionals. Her first TV show was Darja e Shararat on Samaa and channel. She later worked for PTV, Aplus, Public News. Her shot to fame was the morning show of 7 news Zindagi Ke Rung in 2017-2018 for 7 News she also hosted Ramazan transmission in 2018.

In 2019 she got associated with Lahore Qalandars as their digital host. In the same year, she also hosted Sary Sur Hamary for PTV Home which was the reboot of the iconic show Angan Angan Tare originally hosted by Hadiqa Kiani in the 1990s.

Dr Arooba became a household name when she joined Khabaryar on Neo TV as a co-host and later started hosting Open Mic Cafe for team Aftab Iqbal. She was also among the team members who moved to express news to re-start the famous show Khabardar on the channel.

Besides TV hosting and practicing medicine, Dr Arooba is an active vlogger on her YouTube channel and is a social media influencer with a following of nearly 3.2 million, she is also an occasional model and hosts corporate events.
