Drama ensues as Raima becomes Begum Sarkar in Muqaddar’s latest episode

The latest episode of Muqaddar was high on drama and complicated familial situations. This 7th Sky Entertainment production has been giving one brilliant episode after the other, keeping the viewers hooked. Sardar Saif finally returns home with his new bride Raima by his side. This angers his wife Farkhanda and his daughter Abeera. Saad returns home to find out his aunt is unwell because of the same reason. Abeera is insistent that she wants Raima out of the house.

On the other hand, Haris and Maham mourn over the death of Haris’s mother’s demise. Raima herself is heartbroken that she couldn’t meet her mami. She is still trying to come to terms with her marriage and her new house. Farkhanda tells Sardar Saif she doesn’t want Raima to live in their house. He should keep her somewhere else to which he refuses and instead asks her to go to her parents’ place, after which he leaves with Raima to go to an event. Upon their return, Abeera creates a ruckus and asks her father to leave Raima. She is surprised when Sardar Saif asks her who she is to ask him something like that. Abeera asks Sardar Saif to choose between Raima and her and her mother. To this, he decides to divorce Farkhanda but is stopped by Raima. Sardar tells her she is the solace of his heart, the one that he loves. He will throw anyone out of his life who asks him to leave her.

Farkhanda tells Abeera they will have to do something to make Raima’s life so miserable in the house that she will have to leave on her own one day. Later in the night, Raima asks Sardar Saif to talk to Abeera since she is a kid and must have been hurt by what he said to her. He readily agrees but doesn’t follow through because Sardar Saif isn’t the kind of man who would apologize to his daughter.

The next morning, Abeera insults Raima and tells her she’s nothing but a toy for her father. The episode ends with another altercation between Abeera and Sardar Saif when she dismisses Raima’s idea of having breakfast with them at the same table.

Muqaddar stands tall among shows that fall under the same category because of its excellent performances and powerful dialogues. It will be interesting to see what Abeera and Farkhanda will do about Raima’s presence in the house and Sardar Saif’s life. The upcoming episodes promise to be high on drama quotient and some convincing acting by the lead cast. Muqaddar airs on Mondays at Geo TV.
