The renowned newscaster Erum Nawaz who joined ARY News as talk show host back in September is now all set to launch her brand new show for the channel. The show is called “Humaray Mehman” and it is a celebrity talk show highlighting the lighter side of larger than life figures of Pakistan.
Previously Erum also hosted an investigative jounralism show “Kab Tak” along with Asad Kharal. Now Erum Nawaz is making a screen comeback after a break with “Humaray Mehman”.
While talking to MediaSpring PK, Erum Nawaz said:
“This show is different than the work I have done in the past, Humary Mehman is lighter interview based show. The show highlights the daily life of famous celebrities of Pakistan. This is quite an exciting and challenging assignment for me so far, and I have not only enjoyed it but also learning a lot from it.”
Humaray Mehman is going on air tonight and it will be telecasted every Sunday at 7pm. It was origionally supposed to go on air last Sunday, however, it was pulled off because of Gulshan e Iqbal Park bombing in Lahore.
Erum Nawaz is one of the most promising faces of our news media. She holds a masters degree in mass communication, and she started her career as an intern at style 360 while she was studying in 2008. She also worked as producer & director at ATV and A Plus. She began her news casting career fromDunya News. After a brief break from new media she made a comeback as news anchor at 92 News HD.
