Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf has been named captain of the seven-member squad that will represent Pakistan in the upcoming Hong Kong World Sixes, scheduled to take place from 1 to 3 November at the Kowloon Cricket Club. The tournament, which features eight teams, will see Pakistan competing to add to its rich history of success at the event.
Since its inception in 1993, Pakistan has lifted the Hong Kong World Sixes trophy four times and finished as runners-up on five occasions. The Green Shirts also reached the final in the last edition of the tournament, held in 2017.
The Pakistan squad boasts a mix of experienced players and emerging talents, with former Test wicketkeeper-batter Saleem Yousuf accompanying the team as manager.
