Fakhar Zaman Joins Desert Vipers for ILT20 Season 3

The International League T20 (ILT20) is gearing up for a thrilling Season 3, with Fakhar Zaman among the standout names to make their debut. The prolific Pakistani opener has signed with the Desert Vipers, adding firepower to an already star-studded lineup. Fakhar will be joined by Lockie Ferguson, further strengthening the Vipers’ squad.

The window for new signings, which opened in June and closed on 15 September, saw several high-profile additions across the six franchises. In addition to Fakhar, global cricket icons like Jason Roy (Sharjah Warriorz), Shai Hope (Dubai Capitals), Matthew Wade (Sharjah Warriorz), and Romario Shepherd (MI Emirates) will make their ILT20 debuts, lighting up the stadiums in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.

Fakhar Zaman’s presence in the Desert Vipers is expected to be a game-changer. Along with retaining key players like Alex Hales, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Mohammad Amir, the Vipers will aim for a strong campaign in this fast-paced T20 tournament.

Meanwhile, the league also offers teams the flexibility to add more players or make replacements with the approval of the ILT20 Technical Committee. The squads will have the opportunity to bolster their rosters further through a UAE players draft, following the conclusion of the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament next month.

Season 3 promises an action-packed spectacle with new talents and thrilling matchups. The tournament will continue to grow as a premier T20 competition, captivating cricket fans globally.
