Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali on Tuesday responded to the reports claiming that he is set to marry an Indian girl. Several reports on Tuesday claimed that Ali will be tying the knot with Shamia Arzoo, who hails from Mewat district of Haryana. However, Ali has now clarified on Twitter and said that the wedding is not confirmed yet.
The reports suggested that Shamia’s family is all set to travel to Dubai and the wedding will take place at the Atlantis Palm Hotel. However, Ali has said that the two families are yet to meet and he will be making a public announcement soon if everything goes well. The Pakistan pacer was recently part of the Men in Green’s squad in the World Cup 2019.

Shamia is a flight engineer and has completed her B. Tech (Aeronautical) degree from Manav Rachna University of Haryana. She is currently employed with a leading Airlines. The marriage is likely to take place in Dubai where the two families will be meeting in the coming days. Ali will not the first Pakistani cricketer to marry an Indian girl as there have been a few cricketers from the other side of the border who have found love in India.
