Fast bowler Mohammad Irfan Retires from International Cricket

Pakistan’s towering fast bowler, Mohammad Irfan, has announced his retirement from international cricket at the age of 42, becoming the third Pakistani player to bid farewell recently.

Irfan took to social media to share the news, expressing heartfelt gratitude to his teammates, coaches, and fans for their support throughout his career.

Known for his imposing height and pace, Irfan represented Pakistan in four Tests, 60 ODIs, and 22 T20Is, claiming a total of 109 wickets across formats. Though his last international appearance was over five years ago, he remained active in domestic cricket until recently.

Irfan’s retirement follows the departures of pacer Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim, marking a significant transition phase for Pakistan cricket.
