One of the most prominent news anchors, Fatima Akhtar has left News One to join Jaag Television. Fatima Akhtar has previously also been part of the television network when it was called CNBC Pakistan.
Fatima Akhtar holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and has done her master’s in mass communication. She started her broadcast journalism career in 2012 and time span of four years Fatima has established herself as a holistic news anchor. She has also done entertainment reporting along with serious news anchoring.
Thus far Fatima has served as news anchor at Dawn News, CNBC Pakistan (Jaag TV), Abb Takk, and News One. Before becoming a full time broadcast jounilism Fatima Akhtar also did modelling, working for various brands and ads as model.
Last year Fatima Joined News One and after a year of service with the channel she joined Jaag TV last week again.
