Alia Bhatt who has discovered her singing talent and lent her voice to a couple of songs in her films, is once again going to sing in her upcoming movie ‘Kapoor & Sons’. News is that Alia and her co-star Fawad Khan are going to sing a duet for the film which also stars the actress’ rumored boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra and past master actor Rishi Kapoor.
Alia had earlier experienced laborious vocal training at the music school of A.R. Rahman, the music composer of ‘Highway’, and sang the track ‘Sooha Saaha’ in the film. She also sang the unplugged version of ‘Samjhawan’ in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania‘.
Pakistani heartthrob Fawad who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Khoobsurat’ opposite Sonam Kapoor, is also a eminent singer. Since, before his acting career started he was the lead vocalist of a Pakistani band ‘Entity Paradigm’.
‘Kapoor & Sons’ would be the second Bollywood project for Fawad who received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in ‘Khoobsurat’. Alia Bhatt too won Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for ‘Highway’ at the age of 22.
