The Pakistan Fashion Design Council [PFDC] in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris, the world’s leading beauty brand, reveal the names of participating fashion designers along with information on their corporate synergies for PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2015 [#PLBW2015] being held in Lahore from 16th September to 18th September 2015. The platform is set to define and present contemporary and traditional Pakistani Bridal fashion, while fusing hair and makeup trends to create looks for the upcoming bridal season of 2015-2016.
Designers showcasing at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week will represent a diversity of Pakistan’s bridal aesthetics across 22 independent labels as full solo shows and capsule shows alike. To this end the 5th PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week will continue and indeed extend the PFDC’s commitment to nurturing new generations of Pakistani design talent. The PFDC’s continuation of Bank Alfalah’s Rising Talent Show facilitated by their long-term Official Banking Partners is indicative of this. Since its launch with the PFDC, Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Show has positively contributed to the development of Pakistan’s emerging design talent, introducing fresh design and retail platforms for the industry. To further this, #PLBW2015 will also witness the introduction of a new showcase, PFDC Introduces: New Bridal Designers: an independent and organic extension of the rising talent showcase. As the name suggests, this PFDC show platform will showcase the work of a selection of newer bridal designers in the industry as mentored and nurtured by the PFDC with each designer creating a capsule collection each featuring eight ensembles.
In terms of designer line, presenting collections at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2015 are: Ali Xeeshan Theatre Studio, Ammara Khan, Asifa & Nabeel, Élan, Fahad Hussayn, HSY, Karma Red, Misha Lakhani, Nickie Nina, Nomi Ansari, Saira Shakira, Sana Safinaz, Sania Maskatiya, Shamaeel Ansari, Republic by Omar Farooq and The House of Kamiar Rokni. Additionally, the Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Show will comprise of 4 emerging bridal designers: Maheen Taseer, Zarmisha Dar, Faiza Saqlain, and JEEM by Hamza Bokhari. PFDC Introduces: New Bridal Designers will bring to #PLBW2015 capsule collections by Suffuse by Sana Yasir and Mahgul.

The brand will be introducing a new line of exotic fashion furniture through an exclusive lounge at #PLBW2015.
In continuation of their support for the platform Bank Alfalah as the Official Banking Partners and patrons of the rising talent showcase. Bank Alfalah, Marina Homes and Samsung all will be hosting a custom-designed VIP lounge at the event.
