First Episode of Kahin Deep Jalay Leaves Us Wanting More

One of the things which we love about this year is the fact that we have been able to view some fantastic dramas on the small screen with riveting tales that are full of emotions.  The excellent performances by our actors, and the production houses doing a fine job in bringing forth content that becomes a must watch, the small screen is filled with interesting new stories.

With Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi producing back to back hit dramas under their banner 7th Sky Entertainment, we got the chance to see the first episode of their latest venture namely Kahin Deep Jalay which stars the versatile Imran Ashraf and Neelam Muneer in the lead. Once again, the drama follows a unique storyline that has garnered the audiences attention with the first episode.

Written by the “Alif Allah aur Insaan” famed Qaisera Hayat comes this latest piece of work which is a beautiful tale of love, loss, betrayal and family bonding.

The story centers around Rida played by Neelam Munir; the apple of everyone’s eyes and that was what we loved as after ages we saw siblings who were happy with one another and enjoyed a good rapport instead of trying to bring each other down.

With Ali Abbas also in the cast, he plays Rida’s brother called Faham who is engaged to Shamila played by Nazish Jahangir who is not as sweet as Rida and simply wants to ruin the peace in everyone’s life.

Now where we have these two families right there exists a third one which shows Imran Ashraf as Zeeshan who has lost everything after his father’s death as he had gone bankrupt. With his mother played by Saba Hamid on the road, the most heart wrenching scene was watching him cladded in expensive clothes begging for money as his mother needed immediate medical help making us realize that life is unpredictable and within seconds everything can change drastically.

Overall an excellent beginning, Kahin Deep Jalay looks like a play which will be an emotional saga but will also teach us valuable life lessons every week.

With Imran Ashraf playing the broken Zeeshan with ease we have high hopes from Kahin Deep Jalay which has begun on a positive note and has already left us wondering how the story would progress, and how the main leads would run into each other. We can’t wait till next week to find out!
