So, the blockbuster drama serial of GEO TV Fitrat concluding episode just on-aired and leaves viewers with mixed emotions. The show is one of the most talked about and top rated project of 2020 and kept the viewers hooked over several months and created quite a buzz over social media mainly because of its controversial storyline and bold characters. The drama was constantly topping the chart and even after it caught PEMRA’s attention due to bold subject and dialogues, it becomes a household name.
Starring the very talented Saboor Ali in lead role, the drama made headlines with her character Fariya, both nationally and internationally. Fariya is a self-centered and materialistic young woman with biggest aspirations, who goes to any length for her benefit. She marries her ex-husband’s brother Shahbaz (Ali Abbas younger brother) and then wrongfully accuses the latter of abuse. The accusation by Fariya harms the bond between the two brothers. However, the drama ends with a strong conclusion that how bad intentions and shortcuts could lead you to terrible consequences.
Fariya’s character stirs the social media, so much so that now people relate to her character in everyday conservations. Saboor Ali was awesome and makes you hate her character and loved her performance at the same time. It would be justified to say that the best performer in an antagonist role this year would be Saboor Ali.
Great direction, grand sets, glamour and superb performances by the other cast of the drama including Ali Abbas and Mirza Zain Baig, Zubab Rana, Sabiha Hashmi, Seemi Pasha, Saife Hassan, Fazila Qazi, Farhan Ali Agha, Adla Khan, Aisha Gul, Kamran Jilani, Mariyam Nafees, Zain Afzal and Raeed Muhammad Alam made it worth watching
Fitrat ended with a strong message of retribution for nature. The script, however, has received opposing views from the public. When the majority appreciates the morality represented in the drama, others actually degrade the bold subject and performances. While the drama has gained immense popularity for its plot and performances, the final episode is trending on social media right now with record breaking views and comments.
