2017 and 2018 thus far have not been a very fruitful year for Pakistani films or cinema, however, Pakistani TV dramas have continued doing well with issue-based dramas and worthwhile stories. Some of the ongoing and recently concluded TV dramas have created an anticipation for many upcoming TV dramas, which are releasing in the latter half of this year.

Dil Mom Ka Dya
Neelam Muneer, is all set to star with the famous actor and director, Yasir Nawaz, in an upcoming drama titled “Dil Mom Ka Diya”!
This upcoming drama is based on a novel “Dil Mom Ka Diya” written by Saira Raza and will be produced under the banner of Six Sigma Productions. Directed by Shahid Shafaat, it will also feature Qavi Khan, Imran Ashraf, and Hira Mani among others.
Dil Kya Karey
Written by Asma Nabeel, this love story addresses the issue of second marriage of young widows. Yumna Zaidi and Feroze Khan are lead stars of this production of 7th Sky Entertainment.
Romeo Weds Heer
The hit pair of Feroze Khan and Sana Javed are back this time in this fun-filled TV play written by iconic Dr. Younis Butt.
Aangan
Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Ahsan Khan, Mawra Hocane and Sonya Hussyn starer upcoming pre-partition drama has successfully created a hype and we just can’t wait to watch it.
