Our media industry has progressed a lot. Many of our producers have brought healthy productions for us. 2016 was full of best as well as worst dramas. Many dramas contained good moral lessons yet there are some dramas whose stories didn’t make any good sense. Some dramas had very good starting but their ending was so stupid. Bay Qasoor:

As the name suggests, the drama was all about a girl who was ‘Bay Qasoor’. The story was of two sisters, one was ultimate Bechari while other had all the characteristics of powerful, selfish girl. It was only the negative characters that grabbed the attention of viewers. Other characters were boring through out the drama and had nothing to do with the play. The story lacked substance and was extended for no reason. Samina Peerzada and Saboor Ali, the two Maa Betis kept on crying during all the episodes of the drama.

Mann Mayal:

Though Man Maya was among the most watched dramas of 2016, yet the content had nothing in it. It was totally a stupid drama. The drama had a really good start but the middle portion ans the end were senseless. HUM TV had promoted it for no good reason. Hamza Ali Abbasi’s comeback with this drama was not really very impressive. There were a lot of Memes on the characters. The producers have just prolonged it.

Sangat:

The drama had a very go start. But after that it was not a family drama, I must say. The drama had as sick story as it glorified the rapist. In every other episode, the woman was mocked for rape. The woman tried to prove herself but in the end, a raped woman has nothing to do in our society. The drama always created an unbearable stress watching a rape victim ridiculed over and over again.

Pakeeza:

Pakeeza was a drama in which Pakeeza couldn’t prove herself a pure woman. Again, the drama was promoted a lot but it disappointed the viewers. It had typical story in which the woman was pure and talented yet weak. She was under the pressure of a dominating husband. She tied knot to her love. Died and couldn’t prove herself. In the end, the close relatives kept on proving her.

Bhai:

This drama was about an uneducated Bhai who kept on making the lives of his siblings, miserable. He stopped only when one of his siblings died. Again, there was physical abuse and Rona Dhona. No new story at all.
