In continuation of their celebration of summer, pioneering ready-to-wear brand Generation held a preview for their upcoming Eid collections at an exclusive meet and greet at their Dolmen Mall, Karachi store. The brand’s Eid collections will be available at the brand’s retail stores nationwide from 17th June.

Generation will be launching five distinct collections this Eid–Ul–Fitr. The brand’s Denim Glam collection draws inspiration from fancy insects and bugs and features 10 unique designs in acid washed denim. The collection features clean and sporty cuts on fine denim and chambre fabric glammed up with stones and adda work retailing between Rs. 3200 to Rs. 4500.
The brand will also be launching a formal collection titled the Tales of the Orient retailing between Rs 13000 to Rs. 19000 that draws inspiration from oriental paintings and has been produced using techniques such as resham embroidery, adda and cutwork to create pretty spring blossoms and flower vines juxtaposed with latticework. The collection features 8 distinct designs in clean silhouettes and kurtas in rich gold tissue, raw silk and khaddi net with crushed dupattas. Tales of the Orient will be available in all Generation outlets from 4th June onwards.
Generation will further be launching two iconic collections on the 12th of July; The Botanist and Al–Mashriq Collection. The Botanist builds on intricate botanical drawings on parchment paper and finishes it off with beautiful gold Mughal motifs all over it. Organza and tilla detailing to give it a formal look for Eid. This collection is available in pastel shades and luxe fabrics including voile, viscose, cambric and dobby net. The Al–Mashriq collection utilises a vast variety of fabrics including voile, jacquards, organzas, embroidered cottons and net in a soft palette of white, off white, beige and gold. The classical collection takes inspiration from Indian jewellery and arabesques and brings back the traditional shalwar, This will be available in 20 unique designs and these two collections will be within the price range of Rs. 2800-4500
Additionally, the brand’s acclaimed “I See You” collection that was showcased at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015 will also be available in stores from 11th July. The collection draws inspiration from the animalistic dispositions that can be found within each of us – the thin, raw line that separates what is human and what is organic. In terms of fabric, the collection has been created in a variety, including raw finish cottons, denim and dobby juxtaposed with luxe silks, organzas and mesh and will be available within a range of Rs. 4000 to Rs 9000.

The brand will be launching their first store in Rawalpindi on the 17TH of June 2015.
