The highly anticipated Global T20 Canada cricket tournament is making a triumphant comeback after a three-year hiatus, bringing exhilarating matches to Canadian cricket enthusiasts. The third edition of the tournament will take place in Brampton, Ontario, featuring six franchises, including the exciting additions of the Surrey Jaguars and the Mississauga Panthers. The Toronto Nationals, Brampton Wolves, Montreal Tigers, and Vancouver Knights will also be part of the action-packed event.
Scheduled from 20th July to 6th August, the tournament will showcase 25 matches over the span of 18 days. Cricket fans eagerly await the player draft, which is set to reveal marquee players of international repute who will participate in the league. Previous editions have seen cricket legends such as Chris Gayle, Yuvraj Singh, Lasith Malinga, and Brendon McCullum take the field.
Each franchise will consist of 16 players from Full and ICC Associate Member Nations. The squads will feature six international players, including two marquee stars, four players from Associate Nations, and six talented Canadian players, ensuring a diverse and captivating cricket extravaganza.
