Honey Moon (Ep. 9 & 10 Review): Moon Repents His Mistake Of Running Away From Home

Green Entertainment’s Honey Moon started on a light and fun note but as the narrative progressed, the plot of Faheem Burney’s directorial is getting intense. The love birds who preferred love over family were separated mid-away. Episodes 9 and 10 of Honey Moon saw some major developments. Let’s find out.

Moon (Mirza Zain Baig) gets targeted by Bhaiji (Nayyar Ejaz) rivals but is eventually saved by Bubble. Mehru (Mehrunisa Iqbal) is disheartened to see him in pain. She goes all out and does all the things to keep him away from the evil eye. Bhaiji is surprised to see Mehru’s one-sided love for Moon, but he is happy for her.

Things however get worse for Honey (Hina Chaudhry) as she loses her modeling assignment. Seemi (Javeria Saud) calms her and ensures that she has a bright future ahead. Honey is depressed and shattered to the core and she tries to commit suicide. Seemi arrives at the right time to save her. Mehru is getting selfish and is now desperate to marry Moon before he meets Honey. She keeps roaming around him, brings flowers, arranges lavish breakfasts, etc.

Honey realizes her mistake and apologizes to Seemi. She also joins the parlor as a trainee.  Shakeela (Saba Hameed) keeps a constant eye on her younger daughter Rano. She has sensed that Rano is involved with Moon’s younger brother Haroon. She doesn’t want history to repeat itself.

Bhaiji calls Moon and thanks him for his bravery for saving his life. He wants to meet his father Kabir (Javed Sheikh) and thank him for raising him so well. The episode ends when Moon realizes that he choose the wrong path in his life and prays to god that he meets Honey soon.

The performances of Honey Moon are the highlight of the enterprise. Mirza Zain Baig continues to win hearts with his sincere act. Hina Chaudhry entertained us with her bubbly avatar in the initial episodes, she does exceedingly well in the emotional sequences too. Javeria Saud enacts her part well. Veteran Nayyer Ejaz is a delight to watch. Mehrunisa Iqbal looks great and emotes well.
