The Eid is about spreading happiness and spending time with loved ones, however, there are many who end up working on Eid days and spend EId day with co workers. Our TV presenters and news anchors also fall in this category.

When asked how she celebrates her Eid, Aisha said:
“EId is mostly away from home, obviously we, anchors, are at work whenever there is a national event, any holidays or festivities. Because news do not have off days.”

When asked if it frustrating to work on special days such as Eid, Aisha said:
“Initially i used to feel sad and angry but honestly no i love it. I love being at work on Eid or any special days. It’s been almost nine years that I have been spending my first and second day of Eid at my office.”
