The ICC has introduced a striking new visual identity for the upcoming men’s and women’s Champions Trophy tournaments, setting a fresh and energetic tone for the prestigious global events. This updated brand identity brings a distinctive digital-first look, featuring a bold typographic logo and vibrant design aimed at breaking from tradition while celebrating the unique language and passion of cricket.
The Champions Trophy, a high-stakes two-week competition, will see the top teams in the world compete in each edition. The men’s ODI version returns for the first time since 2017, while a new T20 Champions Trophy for women will showcase the top six T20 teams in a fast-paced format. The winners of both tournaments will don the iconic white jackets—a nod to Champions Trophy history and a symbol of excellence on the global stage.
The refreshed brand identity is inspired by the essence of cricket, from the language used to celebrate every wicket to the superstars’ names on their kits. Designed to be bold, expressive, and fun, the visual identity aims to bring a contemporary edge to the historic competition. ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya expressed enthusiasm for the new direction: “The Champions Trophy’s return alongside a new women’s event has given us a fantastic opportunity to reimagine its visual identity. The bold new design, along with the unique white jackets, pays homage to the tournament’s tradition and its global appeal.”
With its updated identity, the Champions Trophy aims to engage fans worldwide, embracing both tradition and innovation as it returns to the cricketing calendar.
